Free printable price list maker
A service price list names each service, its unit (per hour, per room, per visit, per linear foot), what the price includes and what costs extra, plus your minimum charge and how to book. Use “From” prices for work you need to see before you can quote firmly. Keep it to one page so customers read all of it.

Describe service 1.
What should a service price list include?
Give each service a clear name, price and unit, such as per hour, per room or per visit. Describe the included work and list extras separately. Add your business name, booking details, minimum charge and tax wording so a customer can understand the price before contacting you.
When should you use a starting price?
Use “From” when a defined base service has a starting amount and the final job needs more information. Explain what changes that amount, such as size, access, condition or additional work. For a fixed package, describe its limits and leave the starting-price box unchecked.
Which trades have a ready-made price list?
Eighteen, each starting with the services and units that trade quotes in: per linear foot for gutters, per pane for windows, per square for roofing, per push for snow. The published prices on each page show what other businesses charge; your own prices stay yours.
Frequently asked questions
Should I show prices or say “call for a quote”?
Show prices for anything you can price without seeing the job, and “From” prices for the rest. Customers who see a number before they call have already accepted the range, and you spend less time quoting jobs that were never going to book.
How often should I update my price list?
Whenever your costs move, and at least once a year. Before your busy season is the easiest time to raise prices; a date printed on the sheet tells customers it is current.
Should the price list show a minimum charge?
Yes. A minimum tells small jobs what the visit costs before anyone books, and it saves you from the quarter-hour job that costs you a whole trip.
