Pressure washing price list template
Pressure washing companies publish a per-square-foot rate for each surface plus a visit minimum. Dirt Busters in Salt Lake County lists hard surfaces at $0.25 a square foot, decks and fences at $0.30, and a $200 minimum, tax included, checked October 2026. Your sheet needs the same bones: a rate per surface, what each wash includes, the minimum, and the work you quote only after seeing it.

| Published service | Price | Scope | Source and date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Driveway washing; US guide | $0.25–$0.35 per square foot | Driveway rate only; the guide prices other surfaces differently. | HomeGuide: pressure washing prices · Checked |
| House washing; US guide | $170–$360 per job | Whole-job price for the house exterior, not a rate per square foot of floor. | HomeGuide: pressure washing prices · Checked |
HomeGuide’s driveway price is per square foot of washed surface; its house-wash price is per job, from an April 2024 article. Angi’s October 2026 house-wash range is $213–$449.
Which surfaces need their own line on a pressure washing price list?
Every surface that takes a different method. Concrete flatwork such as driveways, walks and patios at one rate; pavers, with re-sanding listed apart; wood decks and fences at a higher rate; house washing by the job and by story; roofs as soft wash, quoted on site. A customer should find their job in one line and know which unit it’s priced in.
How should sealing and stain treatment appear on the sheet?
As add-ons with a unit, listed under the surface they go with. “Oil stain treatment, per stain” and “Seal concrete, per square foot” let the customer build their own job. Write what the base wash covers, such as surface dirt, mildew and organic staining, so they can see why a stubborn oil spot costs extra. Keep promises about stains off the sheet.
The common mistake is the hidden add-on. A driveway priced at the base rate, then billed for stain treatment the customer never saw listed, turns a good job into a dispute. If an add-on is on the sheet, you can point to it. If it isn’t, quote it before you start and get a yes.
Should you publish pressure washing prices on your website?
Yes, the rates and the minimum. Per-square-foot prices let customers rough out their own job, and Dirt Busters publishes its whole card that way. The risk is a customer who measures badly and is caught out by your total, so say that you measure on site and the quote follows your measurement. Keep roofs, commercial work and restoration quote-only.
Frequently asked questions
Should my pressure washing prices include sales tax?
Decide, then say which on the sheet. Dirt Busters prints tax-included prices, which reads simply to homeowners and avoids a bigger number at the end. Tax-added prices look lower but catch people out on the invoice. Whether the service is taxable at all depends on your state, so settle that first.
Should I list bundle prices for a driveway and house wash?
Yes, when one trip covers both. Setup, travel and cleanup happen once, so a bundle can fairly come in under the two prices added together. Discount only what the shared trip saves you. List the bundle with both surfaces named, and keep the single prices beside it so the saving is visible.
How often should I update my pressure washing price list?
Before each spring rush, and whenever chemical, fuel or dump costs move. Check the outside numbers too: HomeGuide’s house-wash range of $170–$360 dates from April 2024, while Angi’s October 2026 range is $213–$449. If your prices still match the older figure, you have room to raise them.
