Fall gutter cleaning estimate template
A fall gutter-cleaning estimate should identify the roofline runs, height, access, included downspout work and debris cleanup. This example covers 180 feet of single-story gutters at $1.25 per foot. It is one seasonal visit, with underground drains, repairs and any later leaf-drop visit priced separately.

Which roofline and access details belong on the quote?
List the gutter runs and measured length, including any detached garage or porch that is part of the job. State the story count and note difficult access behind additions, fences or landscaping. A marked photo helps the customer confirm which sections the price covers.
Add the service address, customer contact, business details and estimate reference. Record access through gates and the agreed water connection if your method needs it. Confirm who will approve extra work if the person paying will be away during the visit.
How do you separate cleaning from drainage repairs?
Name clearing, downspout flow checks and bagged-debris removal together in the service line. State whether guards will be cleaned in place or removed. This example excludes guard removal, underground drains and repairs; add those only when the actual work and price have been agreed.
Use this change wording: “We will show you any blockage or damage outside the cleaning scope and agree its price before doing additional work.” A photo of a leaking seam or blocked ground drain gives the customer a specific decision, while the accepted cleaning work stays clear.
How do you agree the fall timing and finish?
Describe whether this is an early blockage-clearing visit or the final cleanup after the main leaf drop. If the trees are still shedding, explain which later visit is optional. Record a service window and contact method for weather changes so the customer knows what is booked.
The example has no deposit, expires after seven days and is paid after completion. Change those editable terms to your own arrangement and provide the payment method. Before printing, check the footage, total, exclusions and service address against the marked photos.
After the visit, send completion photos and note any agreed item left for repair. Keep the accepted quote with that record. A follow-up about a new leaf fall can then be priced as the next visit without rewriting the scope of work already completed.
Frequently asked questions
Can I add a second visit to the estimate?
Give the return visit its own timing, scope and price. Explain whether it is a check or another complete clean. The customer can accept the single visit or the package with a clear total for each.
How should I show a minimum charge?
Use the minimum as the job price when it exceeds the footage calculation and state the included work. Keep it distinct from an additional service charge so the customer can see how the accepted total was reached.
Should I list a downspout repair before inspecting it?
Keep an unconfirmed repair outside the fixed cleaning total. Inspect the condition, describe the work and obtain approval for its price. The estimate can already explain that additional repairs need a separate agreement.
