Voice to finished work

Talk it out. Get clear words back.

Talking is often faster when your hands are busy or the details are fresh. The recording becomes editable text first, so you decide what the finished message says.

delivery for Oak Street couldn't leave it gate locked called twice no answer box is still with me can try again tomorrow between one and three but need gate code or somebody there

Static sample result

Hi, I wasn't able to complete today's Oak Street delivery because the gate was locked, and I couldn't reach anyone by phone. I still have the package secured. I can try again tomorrow between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. Please send the gate code or confirm that someone will be there.

Check the street name and delivery window before sending.

A chronological ramble becomes a neutral message with the reason, current status, proposed window, and one clear request.

Why this helps

Where this task gets hard

A useful field note rarely arrives as a polished paragraph. It includes restarts, missing punctuation, a name said once, a part number, and a next step remembered at the end. Sending the raw recording makes the recipient do the organizing; waiting to type it later risks losing detail.

The safer middle step is an editable transcript. Once names and numbers are checked, the same facts can become a concise customer update, a dated work log, or an ordered checklist. The service should preserve the recording when transcription fails long enough to retry or download it, and should never send the transcript automatically.

How it works

From source to finished work

  1. After signing in, choose Talk, read the privacy primer, and record up to ten minutes.
  2. Stop and review the editable transcript, especially every name, date, address, amount, and part number.
  3. Ask for a message, work log, or checklist, then copy or save only after it reads correctly.

What you can bring

  • Push-to-talk recording in supported browsers
  • Audio-file fallback when browser recording is unavailable
  • Recordings up to ten minutes, returned as editable text before any request is sent

Important limits

  • Noise, accents, overlapping speech, uncommon names, and spoken numbers can produce transcription errors.
  • The transcript is never sent automatically; names, addresses, dates, measurements, and amounts require human review.
  • This is push-to-talk with an editable transcript, not a live call, background listener, or full-duplex voice assistant.

Privacy

Your voice is used to make the transcript you requested, not to build a public voice profile.

After authentication and explicit microphone permission, the raw recording is deleted after transcription by default. A recoverable local copy is kept only long enough to retry or download after a failure.
