What this covers
These terms cover the 50 GIFs and matching preview stills in the Little moments, in motion opening collection (opening-50-v2). The downloadable terms identify the GIFs by asset ID and file hash. They do not license our logo, product interface, other website content, customer uploads or the rest of our artwork inventory. No account or paid Helper plan is needed.
Your permission
To the extent Make This Useful holds rights it can license, we give you worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to download, copy, modify, display and share the covered artwork for the uses below. Other people may use the same artwork. You do not acquire exclusive rights or ownership of the originals.
Messages, lessons and business content
Use the artwork in personal messages, educational materials, presentations, websites, newsletters, videos and social posts. Business and client work, monetized editorial content and paid promotions are allowed when the artwork supports your content rather than being the item sold. You may charge for your services or a substantive lesson that includes decorative artwork. You may crop, resize, recolor, change speed, use a still frame, add words or combine it with other material.
Credit is your choice
No credit, link, watermark, signup or payment is required. If you want to credit us, “GIF by Make This Useful” with a link to the original collection is welcome. Plain-text credit is welcome too. There is no required wording, search keyword or link attribute.
Share the moment, not an asset business
Sending an individual GIF, sharing a post containing it and passing a finished project to your client are allowed. Do not sell or sublicense the artwork as a standalone file, stock asset, sticker pack, NFT or downloadable template asset; put it on merchandise for sale; or mirror, bulk-redistribute or republish it as a competing GIF, stock or sticker library, even for free. These limits also apply to edited versions. You may give a client the files needed for a permitted finished project if these terms accompany them.
Keep the context honest
Do not claim you created the original artwork, register it as a trademark, assert exclusive ownership, or use automated rights claims to block other permitted users. You can describe your own edits honestly. Do not imply that Make This Useful sponsors or endorses you, fabricate customer proof with the illustrations, or use them unlawfully, fraudulently or to harass someone.
Posting on other platforms
You may allow a platform to host, reproduce, adapt and distribute your permitted post, including the artwork, as needed to operate and share that post through its normal features. This is not permission to upload the files as your own stock or GIF-library catalogue. This license covers only rights we can grant; each platform’s terms still apply. A GIF appearing on GIPHY or another service is not, by itself, permission to use unrelated content commercially.
Rights and limits
The collection combines code-native animation and AI-assisted illustrations with added motion. We do not promise that every element is copyright-protected, exclusive or free of all third-party rights. Nothing here limits uses that the law already allows, including public-domain use and applicable exceptions. You are responsible for rights in material you add and for your use of the artwork. Files are provided as available, without guarantees of platform compatibility or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
Permission that lasts
Your permission under this version does not expire while you follow its terms. Later changes to our policy will not retroactively restrict compliant use of copies obtained under version 1.0. Keep a copy of these terms with your downloaded files. For uses outside this permission or a rights concern, contact Make This Useful through the support link below.
