If A's contractor later confirms disposal at $230, A's known combined amount becomes $2,070. For that now-stated scope, B is $60 lower. Keep both stages of the comparison: $170 was the original total gap; $60 is the gap after the specific confirmation. Do not present the first number as an error simply because the information improved.

A spreadsheet row saying “panels — six — $45” can establish $270 from those supplied inputs. It cannot establish that six panels cover the site. If the quantity changes from eight to six, record the source of that correction and preserve the unrelated commitments.
